What This Coffee Tastes Like

Haitian Baptiste is a single origin dark roast coffee that highlights balance, sweetness, and clarity. The cup opens with deep chocolate notes, followed by creamy sweetness and roasted nut character, rounded off by subtle spice. Smooth, full-bodied, and easy to enjoy, this coffee is ideal for those who prefer darker roasts with refinement rather than sharp intensity.

Roast Profile

Dark Roast

The Dark Roast profile deepens the natural sweetness of this Haitian coffee, drawing out dark chocolate richness, crème brûlée-like sweetness, and roasted nut depth, finished with a gentle spice note. Roasted for smoothness and body, this coffee delivers low acidity, a creamy mouthfeel, and a clean, chocolate-forward finish well suited to espresso and full-bodied brews.

Roasting Schedule

We roast fresh batches every Saturday to ensure peak flavor and quality. After roasting, we allow the coffee to degas for two days before shipping.

I started drinking Haitian coffee

"I started drinking Haitian coffee in the early 1970's. I was in Haiti in 1974 and 1979 and imported 300 lbs and had no problem selling it. I've been living about 120 km north of Toronto for the last 40 years and I use to buy it from Kensington market, but they won't ship it. I'm very happy I found someone who will ship it. It is so nice to be able to drink it again. Thanks"

I really enjoy the flavour

"I really enjoy the flavour profile of Haitian beans. That being said, I have always felt that Haitian beans should be roasted light to fully appreciate the subtle flavour of Haitian beans."
