Honduran Oro is a well-balanced single origin coffee grown in the highlands of Honduras, where elevation and cool mountain climates support slow cherry maturation and consistent quality. Fully washed and carefully processed, this coffee delivers a clean, dependable cup with layered sweetness and structure.

Roasted weekly in Canada, Honduran Oro performs beautifully as both a medium and dark roast. The medium roast emphasizes cocoa sweetness and nutty balance, while the dark roast leans into deeper chocolate tones and fuller body. A versatile choice for everyday brewing, espresso, and milk-based drinks.

Medium Roast

This medium roast highlights the natural sweetness and balance of Honduran coffee. Expect smooth cocoa, brown sugar sweetness, and roasted almond, with a clean finish and gentle acidity that works across brewing methods.

Dark Roast

The dark roast brings deeper intensity and body. Rich dark chocolate and molasses dominate the cup, supported by toasted hazelnut and a subtle smoky edge, delivering a bold yet controlled finish.

Roasting Schedule

We roast fresh batches every Saturday to ensure peak flavor and quality. After roasting, we allow the coffee to degas for two days before shipping.

Shipping & Delivery

Orders with Available Inventory: Shipped the next business day (excluding Sundays and Mondays).

Orders Requiring Fresh Roast: If your coffee is not in stock, it will be included in our next Saturday roast and shipped on Tuesday after degassing.

All coffee shipped is within five days of its roast date for optimal freshness.

Brewing Tip

Medium Roast: A 1:16 brew ratio with water around 92–94°C helps highlight the coffee’s sweetness and balanced cocoa notes in pour over and drip brewing.

Dark Roast: Lower water temperatures around 90–92°C help reduce bitterness and preserve body, especially when brewed in French press or espresso preparation.
