This coffee delivers a rich, layered cup with natural sweetness and dried fruit character, offering an experience that stands apart from more conventional single origin coffees.

Roast Profile

Medium Roast

The medium roast of Yemen Mocha highlights depth, sweetness, and natural complexity. Expect flavours of cocoa, dried fig, and red grape, supported by a medium body and distinctive wine-like acidity.

This roast preserves the bold character of traditional Yemeni coffee while remaining balanced, making it well suited for pour-over, espresso, and French press.

Roasting Schedule

We roast fresh batches every Saturday to ensure peak flavor and quality. After roasting, we allow the coffee to degas for two days before shipping.

Shipping & Delivery

Orders with Available Inventory: Shipped the next business day (excluding Sundays and Mondays).

Orders Requiring Fresh Roast: If your coffee is not in stock, it will be included in our next Saturday roast and shipped on Tuesday after degassing.

All coffee shipped is within five days of its roast date for optimal freshness.

This coffee is sourced from the Haraz region of Yemen, a historic highland area where coffee is grown on steep, terraced mountains using traditional farming methods. The challenging terrain and arid climate result in low yields but exceptional flavour concentration.

Grown at high elevations, coffee cherries mature slowly, developing intensity and depth. Yemeni coffees are typically naturally processed, with cherries dried whole, allowing sugars and fruit character to fully develop. This contributes to the region’s signature profile, often marked by cocoa richness, dried fruit sweetness, and wine-like acidity.

Produced in small volumes and varying by harvest, Haraz coffees are valued for their complexity, individuality, and deep-rooted place in coffee history.
