Every subscription is delivered once a month, roasted fresh for each cycle. Change your size or grind, swap beans, or skip a month any time. Subscriptions have a short minimum term, two or three deliveries depending on the plan, then you can cancel whenever you like.
Roasted to order, not off a shelf
Coffee is at its best in the weeks just after roasting, which is why every subscription is roasted to order rather than pulled from a warehouse. We roast in small batches in Ottawa and ship within 3 business days, so your coffee reaches you close to roast date and stays fresher, longer.
We are also one of the few Canadian roasters to build a subscription around robusta, the bold bean that lets you get a genuinely strong cup on repeat.

Storing and resting your coffee
Fresh coffee benefits from a short rest, so there is no rush to brew the moment your bag arrives. Keep beans in a sealed, opaque container away from heat, light, and moisture.
Grind just before you brew for the fullest flavour. For monthly deliveries, store beans whole and grind per cup so the last of the bag tastes close to the first.

How often will my coffee arrive?

Can I choose which coffee I get?
Subscribe to any single coffee you love, or pick a rotating club and let our roaster choose. You can swap your beans between cycles whenever you like.
Can I skip or change my subscription?
Any time. Skip a month, swap your beans, or change your size and grind from your account in a couple of clicks.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes. The three clubs have a three delivery minimum, your first order plus two more. Subscribe to any coffee has a two delivery minimum, your first plus one. After your minimum you can cancel any time, and you can always skip a month in between.

Convenience and freshness. Your coffee is roasted fresh and arrives on schedule without you reordering, and the rotating clubs bring you something new each month. Canadian orders over your regional threshold also ship free.
Is shipping free?
Canadian orders ship free over your regional threshold, from $70 in Ontario and Quebec. We also ship worldwide, with international shipping and any customs shown at checkout.

Whole bean or ground?
Your choice on every coffee. Pick whole bean, or ground for your brew method, and change it whenever you like.
What is The Strong Club?
It is our high caffeine subscription, a rotating robusta every cycle. Robusta carries roughly twice the caffeine of arabica, so it is the strongest, boldest cup we roast, delivered on repeat.
Do you have a decaf or low acid subscription?
Yes. Smooth and Decaf rotates our low acid and decaf coffees, including Swiss Water and sugarcane decafs, for a mellow cup any time of day.
