What This Coffee Tastes Like

Continental Premium Blend is a bold, full-bodied coffee designed for drinkers who enjoy depth with balance. Built on a rich Nicaraguan base and lifted by Ethiopian coffee, it delivers a confident dark roast profile that remains smooth and layered rather than heavy.

The cup is structured and satisfying, offering richness upfront with subtle brightness underneath. It performs well as a strong daily brew and suits those who want intensity without losing definition.

Well suited for drip brewing, French press, and dark-style espresso, this blend is reliable, bold, and composed.

Roast Profile

Dark Roast

Roasted dark to develop body and richness, Continental Premium Blend emphasizes dark chocolate depth and roasted sweetness while allowing hints of citrus, red berry, and mild spice to remain present.

The darker roast smooths acidity and builds a rounded mouthfeel, creating a bold yet clean finish that avoids bitterness. This roast is focused on weight, balance, and lingering flavour rather than sharpness.

Roasting Schedule

We roast fresh batches every Saturday to ensure peak flavor and quality. After roasting, we allow the coffee to degas for two days before shipping.

Shipping & Delivery

Orders with Available Inventory: Shipped the next business day (excluding Sundays and Mondays).

Orders Requiring Fresh Roast: If your coffee is not in stock, it will be included in our next Saturday roast and shipped on Tuesday after degassing.

All coffee shipped is within five days of its roast date for optimal freshness.

Origin Details

Nicaragua

Region: Nueva Segovia
Species: Arabica
Grade: SHG EP
Coffee from Nicaragua’s high-altitude growing regions is valued for its balance, structure, and consistent cup quality. Grown under cooler mountain conditions, these coffees develop slowly, allowing sugars and flavour compounds to mature fully within the bean.

Classified as SHG EP, this coffee meets strict preparation standards, with carefully sorted beans selected for uniformity and cleanliness. Nicaraguan coffees are well known for their chocolate-forward profiles and gentle acidity, making them especially well suited to darker roasts that emphasize richness, smoothness, and spice-driven depth.
