What This Coffee Tastes Like

Sumatra Decaf is a single origin decaffeinated coffee from the Aceh region of northern Sumatra, Indonesia. It retains the region’s signature depth and body while offering a caffeine-free option for evening or low-caffeine drinking.

Decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, this coffee preserves flavour integrity without chemical solvents, delivering a smooth, grounded cup with familiar Sumatran character.

Roast Profile

Medium Roast

Smooth and rounded with a medium body and very low acidity. The medium roast highlights soft cocoa sweetness, earthy depth, and gentle spice, creating a calm and balanced cup.

This roast is well suited for filter brewing and espresso, offering flavour and body without intensity or sharpness.

Dark Roast

Deeper and heavier with a fuller body and muted acidity. The dark roast intensifies cocoa and earthy notes while drawing out warm spice and a slightly smoky undertone.

Ideal for espresso and milk-based drinks, this roast delivers richness and structure while remaining smooth and approachable for a decaffeinated coffee.

Roasting Schedule

We roast fresh batches every Saturday to ensure peak flavor and quality. After roasting, we allow the coffee to degas for two days before shipping.

Shipping & Delivery

Orders with Available Inventory: Shipped the next business day (excluding Sundays and Mondays).

Orders Requiring Fresh Roast: If your coffee is not in stock, it will be included in our next Saturday roast and shipped on Tuesday after degassing.

All coffee shipped is within five days of its roast date for optimal freshness.

How should I store freshly roasted coffee?

Store your coffee beans in a sealed bag or airtight container at room temperature. Keeping freshly roasted coffee away from moisture, light, and heat preserves flavour and aroma.

Yes. Every product can be ordered as whole bean or ground for espresso, drip, pour-over, French press, and more.
