Tanzanian AA is grown in the southern highlands of Mbeya and Mbinga from Bourbon, Kent, Typica and Nyara varieties. AA is Tanzania's top grade by bean size, and washed processing gives a clean, well structured cup.
Roasted dark, it brings dark chocolate and blackberry up front with a brown sugar sweetness and a smooth, rounded finish. Full bodied with low acidity, it is bold without being bitter and holds up well with milk.
Best as French press, drip, pour over, or moka pot. Roasted weekly in small batches, and orders ship within 3 business days of being placed.

Pick your grind above, or choose whole bean and grind at home. As a guide: fine for espresso, medium for pour over and drip, and coarse for French press.
How fresh is the coffee when it arrives?
We roast weekly in small batches in Ottawa, and your order ships within 3 business days of being placed, so your coffee reaches you soon after its roast for peak flavour.
Should I choose whole bean or ground?
Every coffee is available as whole bean or ground to your brew method. Whole bean stays fresher longer; ground is ready to brew right away.
